Create words and develop your mathematical vocabulary!

Kendall Hunt, publisher of Common Core-aligned programs for grades PreK-12, has created the Mathcabulary app to help learners build their vocabulary in a fun way. The game begins when the game timer starts. Players have two minutes to tap on at least three letters to create a word. Letters can be tapped in any direction, but a letter cube can’t be used more than once within a word. Points are awarded based on the number of letters in each word.

Mathcabulary also helps players learn math terms as they play. At the end of the game, they’ll see how many math words were contained in the game board and learn how many they were able to create. Math words will appear in red on the player’s word list. At the end of the game, the math words that were found will be displayed in green, and the words that were missed will be appear in red. Tapping on any math word in the final list will display its definition. The top three game scores are tracked and displayed on screen.

Play Mathcabulary again and again to try to beat the top score and see how many math words you can create and learn about.

With the Mathcabulary app, you can:
- Have fun while creating words and learning math terms
- Play against the clock or pass your device between players
- Get your score to the top of the top score list and see how long it can stay there
